Understand My Training
Over time, I became someone who wanted to understand why I was doing a session and what it was meant to achieve. Asking those questions helped me learn from the different coaches I trained with.
I also studied how David Rudisha trained. In my notes, I singled out the emphasis on drills, the hilly environment, altitude, the number of sessions, and relatively little weight training. Those were things that caught my attention while studying his training.
Wanting to become faster kept revealing more areas I could work on. Reading Relax and Win brought relaxation into that picture too.
